Dumbo is an anthropomorphic elephant created in 1941 by Walt Disney Productions. The film is based on the storyline by Helen Aberson and Harold Pearl, and illustrated by Helen Durney. Jumbo Jr is cruelly nicknamed "Dumbo" and ridiculed for his big ears, but they enable him to fly by using them as wings.
